2.Property Team Needs Help!
The next time we receive a heavy snowfall, please consider helping the Property Team with sidewalk snow removal and salting. The parking lot is regularly plowed by a service, but sidewalks and entrance areas need special attention for the safety of our members and guests. Please contact Dwain Turunen

Annual Report for Property

All of you are well aware of the fact that our building is old and in constant need of maintenance and repair. The property team has been in search of a custodian all year with, unfortunately, no results for 2006. We currently have a candidate that we have interviewed and he seems to be very interested in the position. Let us all pray that we will finally fill the position.
Some of the highlights for repairs and improvements in 2006:

• The stair lift at the Porter St. entrance was installed. • Along with Little Bear, new light fixtures were installed in Is' floor Larson Hall
• The water main shut off valve was replaced
• The boiler for heating was completely checked, cleaned, and some controls were replaced. So far it has performed well this winter
• The air conditioners in the Sagrado Corazon and IRIM offices were replaced with new ones. Two new ones were purchased for the conference and the Sunday school rooms that will be installed this Spring
• All the toilet controls in the women's 1st floor bathroom were updated and replaced as needed
• New toilet paper dispensers were installed in all 1St and 2nd floor bathrooms
• New hand towel dispensers were installed in all bathrooms and the kitchen
• New fragrance dispensers were installed in the 2nd floor bathrooms

Some of the ongoing and upcoming projects for 2007:

• There are several windows that are cracked and need to be replaced. We have the "Lexon" sheets, but need helpers to do the work. (We will save $1500 - $1800 if we do it ourselves )
• Computer lab needs to be set up and wired
• Phone system needs to be upgraded
• Stained glass windows need to be repaired in some locations
