Annual Report of Stewardship
We Say Yes! was the theme for the 2006 Stewardship program. Through bulletin inserts, letters, newsletter articles and temple talks we invited the congregation to say “Yes!” to God, “Yes!” to their church, and “Yes!” to a new commitment to live out their faith in their lives. Built on a firm Lutheran understanding of the biblical accountability, the program encouraged members to be trustworthy servants and stewards, to make good choices with our time, abilities and money.
Commitment Sunday was held on November 19. At the end of December 2006, 57 pledge units had returned their pledge cards for 2007 WITH $112,642 pledged for current expenses, $5900 pledged for special funds, for a total of $118,544. If you have not returned yours, please do it soon
