Justice and Advocacy Ministry
Justice and Advocacy Ministry Team (JAM) - The primary responsibility
of this team is to evaluate, plan and implement a ministry program that
supports the various justice and social ministries of the congregation
and its partnerships, addressing areas such as: global and local hunger
and poverty, homelessness, immigration and refugees, anti-racism, elder
care, etc. The team should also facilitate communication with and support
for such agencies and organizations such as: Lutheran Social Services
of Illinois (LSSI), Christian Outreach of Lutherans (COOL), Interfaith
Refugee and Immigration Ministries (TRIM), Lutheran Immigration and
Refugee Ministries (LIRM), Lutheran Network for Justice Advocacy (LNJA),
Love INC, EIderCARE, Habitat for Humanity, Lake County Partners, etc

Trinity United hosted a second Mobile Food Pantry on Saturday, March 31. distributed the food from 9:30 am until 12:30 pm

Annual Report for Justice and Advocacy
The Justice and Advocacy team will be reviewing the outreach of the congregation and looking at where we will be going with those outreaches we currently have.
We will work along side our other ministry teams to make sure our outreaches meet the goals of our Redevelopment and Transformation.
